n September 25, 2014, President Obama issued a major disaster declaration for the State of Michigan, triggering the release of Federal funds. This Declaration will help the people and communities of Wayne County recover from the severe storms and flooding that resulted from the weather event that began on August 11, 2014.
Residents who did not participate in the Preliminary Damage Assessment phase with Wayne County, are still eligible to register.
