City Road Conditions as of 8:15 a.m.

Good Morning from the City Department of Municipal Services.  Crews have been working during the overnight hours to help make sure that Santa had clear roads to make his deliveries.  

As of 8:00 a.m. the City's main streets have all been salted and they are clear and wet at this time.  This would include Main Street, Farmer, Penniman, Ann Arbor Trail, Starkweather and Harvey.  Residential side streets are snow covered and slick, but perfect for Santa and his Reindeer.  Sidewalks are also snow covered as the City received about a half of inch of snow overnight.  Snow has begun to fall again.  

If you are out driving this morning and you see the salt trucks please be sure to give them plenty of room to work and for your safety and the safety of the driver please stay back at least 50 feet from any salt truck.
