City of Plymouth Department of Municipal Services crews have been working during the early afternoon as the City has experienced some sleet, freezing rain and snow. This has made roads and sidewalks slick. As of 3:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon City Municipal Services crews have treated the City's major streets.
Crews have applied deicing materials to the roadways and the City's Major Streets including Penniman, Ann Arbor Trail, Main, Farmer, Starkweather and Harvey are clear, wet with some slush. The National Weather Service has predicted that temperatures will rise slightly this afternoon, which should cause some additional melting.
Driver's are urged to use caution this afternoon and going into this evening. Please remember to keep clear of salt trucks and provide at least 50 feet of distance between your car and the salt truck.
