City Road Conditions as of 8:00 a.m.

The Department of Municipal Services has been working during the overnight hours to ensure that the City's Major Streets are clear and wet this morning.  In addition, crews are working on the municipal parking lots at this time.  All on street parking is available.  The Downtown sidewalks have been cleared of snow and treated with a deicing material.  

The upper level of the Central Parking Deck has been plowed and treated with a deicing material.  However, drivers and walkers should always be aware that the Parking Deck is an elevated surface and just like bridges and overpasses it tends to ice up quicker than roadways. 

Residents and property owners are reminded to not plow, push, blow or shovel snow into the streets.  This is a violation of City Ordinance and it may cause a property liability for the owner.  

Also, be sure to keep clear of salt trucks and plows that are working.  You should stay at least 50 feet back from any salt truck.  Our drivers appreciate your cooperation.
