Advance Notice of Event Street Closures - Art in the Park

This is advance notice of event street closures for Art in the Park. As a result of this major event, drivers should expect several street closures starting Thursday, July 8, 2021. 

Additionally, there will be several parking restrictions put into place during the event. Many parking lots in the downtown area will be charging for parking, including the municipal lots which will be charging $10 to park on event days. Art in the Park will be offering shuttle services for $3 from the south lot at Schoolcraft College in Livonia.

The following roads are expected to be closed from approximately Thursday, July 8 at 6 p.m. through Sunday, July 11 at 9 p.m.:

*Main Street - from Church Street to Wing Street (Access along Main Street from Church Street to Fralick will be available throughout the weekend to access Westborn Market, Schrader Funeral Home and other Fralick businesses)

*Penniman - from Harvey Street to Union

*Ann Arbor Trail - from Harvey Street to Union/Deer

*Forest Ave - from Ann Arbor Trail to Wing Street

Art in the Park show hours are as follows:

Friday, July 9 - 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, July 10 - 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday, July 11 - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

It is recommended that you leave your dog at home as the event can be very crowded and hot. Put the back of your hand on the pavement. If you cannot hold it there for seven seconds, the pavement can burn your dog's feet.
