Harvey St. Update

Ann Arbor Trail at Harvey St. is now open. Motorists traveling east or west bound on Ann Arbor Trail can now pass through Harvey St. on their way to/from downtown Plymouth. Crews laid the final asphalt layer today and opened up that portion to traffic.

Traffic on Harvey St. still remains closed at this time as crews are still prepping for asphalt next week, installing the landscaping (brick, sod, light poles, etc.). It is anticipated that the northern half of Harvey at Penniman will be paved late next week. Once the schedule is finalized, we will send the information out. In other Harvey St. news, Consumer’s Energy, via a subcontractor is installing new gas main between Church and Farmer St. This work is expected take place along the right of way (sidewalks, some driveways, tree lawn areas) and not expected to be out into the street.
