Additional Bulk Leaf Pick Up Begins Monday, December 13th
Published on Dec 10, 2021 09:49
The City of Plymouth Department of Municipal Services will be adding a third and final round to the curbside Bulk Leaf Pick Up. The pick-up will begin on Monday, December 13th. Crews will be following the same schedule as they did during the regular pickups. Crews will start in Area C (south of Ann Arbor Trail/west of Main St.), then move to Area D (south of Ann Arbor Trail/east of Main St.), followed by Area A (north of Ann Arbor Trail/west of CSX railroad tracks), and finish up in Area B (north of Ann Arbor Trail/east of CSX railroad tracks).
Once the crews finish the area, they will move onto the next area, so it is imperative to have the leaves to the curb no later than Monday, December 13th. Leaves not to the curb by this time may not be collected and they will need to be bagged and held until yard waste collection begins in the Spring.
Once crews have moved through your area and performed the additional bulk leaf collection, you can expect to see the street sweepers in the day(s) following to clean the streets and curb lanes.
Please remember that this service is for bulk leaf pick only. Compost collection for the season has ended and will resume in the spring. Also, please do not place brush piles in with the leaves. That is a separate collection that occurs year-round.
