City Road Conditions as of 5:00 p.m..
Published on Dec 28, 2021 17:04
The City of Plymouth Department of Municipal Services is currently using a mix of road salt and brine to help keep the City's streets treated for the snow that is currently falling. All of the city's major streets were treated earlier in the day with a liquid brine mix to help prevent the snow from bonding to the road surface.
At 5:00 p.m., the City's Major Streets such as Main Street, Harvey Street, Farmer, Starkweather, Penniman and Ann Arbor Trail are all slush covered. The residential side streets are snow and slush covered and should be considered slick at this time. Caution is advised when driving tonight. The City of Plymouth Police Department reminds drivers that if you have 4-Wheel Drive, you also have 4-Wheel slide, so please keep a safe distance from the cars around you.
Also, when approaching a salt/plow truck with its emergency lights activated please stay clear of the plow and drive safely.
