City Road Conditions as of 6:15 p.m.

The snow has begun to fall and is now starting to cover the roadways.  The City Department of Municipal Services Snow and Ice Control team is now using a road salt and brine mix in order to clear the snow and prevent ice build up on the road surface.  If you are out driving tonight please use caution.  If you see the City's truck please remember to keep at least 50 feet back and give them plenty of room to work.  

Snow is forecasted to continue into the overnight hours with significant accumulations.  City DMS crews will be monitoring the snowfall during the overnight hours and additional crews will be in at 7:00 a.m. if they are needed. 
 
Crews will be continuing to work into the night time hours to keep the City's main roads open and clear.  This would include, but not be limited to Main Street, Farmer, Harvey, Penniman, Ann Arbor Trail and Starkweather.
