City Commission Meeting Summary - February 7

The Plymouth City Commission directed City administration to revive work gathering information for a paid parking proposal at its Monday, February 7 meeting at Plymouth City Hall. Administration had been working on a proposal in 2019 and 2020, but was it was put on hold due to the Covid pandemic. Administration plans to update the proposal, have the City Commission review it, and then send it to other City boards and potential focus groups for discussion prior to making any final decisions.
The City Commission approved the 2nd Quarter budget amendments and three events in Downtown Plymouth. The approved events include the Spring Artisan Market at The Gathering on April 23, the Music in the Air concert series in Kellogg Park on Friday nights from May 27 through September 2, and Art in the Park in Downtown Plymouth July 8-10.
The City Commission also appointed resident Kyle Medaugh to the Planning Commission and held a closed session to discuss attorney-client privileged information.
