ABSENTEE BALLOTS
Absentee ballots are mailed 45 days before each election for voters outside the U.S. and shortly after for all other voters. Voters must submit a signed application for each election ballot they would like to receive. Ballots are not sent automatically!
ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATIONS
Absentee ballot applications will be mailed out the week of June 6, 2022 to voters who are currently part of our Permanent Absent Voter Application List. The applications can be used to request a ballot for both the August 2, 2022 Primary Election and the November 8, 2022 General Election. Ballot choices Must Be Marked on the application and the voter Must Sign their application.

Avoid the lines on Election Day. With the passage of Proposal 3 in November 2018, a reason is no longer required for requesting an Absentee Ballot. Last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk (168.497)
July 19, 2022 through August 2, 2022 by 8:00 p.m.
In-person registration with local clerk with proof of residency. (168.497)
November 8, 2022 General Election:
October 24, 2022
Last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk (168.497)
October 25, 2022 through November 8, 2022 by 8:00 p.m.

VOTER ID CARDS
2022 Redistricting Information
As required by law for Michigan's redistricting process, new voter ID cards [replaces your old voter ID card and is yours to keep] have been mailed to all City of Plymouth registered voters at their registered address, and most should have been received the weekend of May 28, 2022. Please note that districts have changed as shown below, but everything else remains the same. Please let us know if you have any corrections to your name and address.
If you receive a voter information card for someone that no longer resides at your address, please write that information on the face of the card and place it in the City Hall 24-hour drop box, drop off at the Clerk's office or give it to your mail person to return it to City Hall. The Clerk’s office will follow up with the voter.
