Please Limit Water Consumption During Peak Times
Published on Jul 3, 2022 09:04
The Great Lakes Water Authority uses a number of factors when determining the rate they charge each community for water. One of these factors is the amount of water used during peak hours.
The City of Plymouth is is asking residents to voluntarily limit water use between the hours of 5:00-10:00 in the morning and 5:00 -10:00 in the evening when the demand on the water system hits its peak.
If you choose to water your lawn, please set your sprinkler system outside of these times. If there is a delay feature on your dishwasher or washing machine, please also set the timers to operate during non-peak times.
If residents or business owners have any questions regarding the requested water use restriction they can call the City of Plymouth's Department of Municipal Services staff at (734) 453-7737.
