Residents should be aware that there is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms, mainly tonight from about 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Damaging wind gusts of 60 mph or greater are the primary hazard along with lower potential for hail up to 1 inch.

Heavy rainfall and localized flooding are also possible. Storm motion is projected west to east at 40 mph.
