The National Weather Service is predicting that today's winter storm will start with sleet and ice in Plymouth. To get ahead of this, City Municipal Services crews are out applying a brine solution to the roads to help prevent ice from bonding to the surface, thereby improving driving conditions.

When ice and snow are present, please remember to drive more slowly than normal, because stopping distances significantly increase, regardless of the type of vehicle you are driving. Police are reminding drivers that four-wheel drive vehicles also have four-wheel slide capabilities!
