Road Closures Begin Today for Plymouth Fall Festival

Road closures will go into effect today, Thursday, September 7 in Downtown Plymouth for the Plymouth Community Fall Festival being held September 8-10.

The following street closures are expected to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 7:

* MAIN STREET -  Northbound From Wing to Penniman and southbound from Fralick to Wing. (Northbound Main closing from Penniman to Church at 4 p.m.)

* ANN ARBOR TRAIL -  Eastbound from Forest to Union/Deer. Westbound from Union/Deer to Harvey.

* PENNIMAN - From Main Street to Union Street. (Closing at the Penniman Municipal lot at 4 p.m. for the remainder of the festival, with closures potentially extending to Harvey at times during the weekend)

The following additional closures are expected to take place from approximately 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10 for the festival's Car Show:

* FOREST - From Ann Arbor Tr. to Wing.

* ANN ARBOR TRAIL - The eastbound closure will be extended. Both directions will be closed from Harvey to Union/Deer during the car show.

Additional closures are possible and closure times are subject to change. All streets are expected to reopen at 2:00 a.m. on Monday, September 11.

In addition, the Plymouth Lions Club will be managing the Central Parking Deck and East Central Lot on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The Lions Club will be collecting $10 per vehicle and the money is used to help fund various projects in the Plymouth community.
