City of Plymouth Annual Hydrant Flushing Continues

The Department
of Municipal Services crews will be continuing their annual, routine hydrant flushing
and testing this week and lasting for the month of October.
During
that time, you may experience lower than normal water pressure and/or
discolored water for a brief time. If you experience either of these
conditions, run your cold water for several minutes to flush out your
plumbing. Discoloration that may occur is due to natural minerals in the
water being stirred up in the hydrant flushing process. The water will
remain safe to drink at all times throughout this process.
