Saturday, November 4, 2023
7:00 am - 3:00 pm
to issue absent voter ballots
and process voter registrations

Anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote at the City of Plymouth Clerk’s office, located at 201 S. Main St., Plymouth, MI 48170 at the times listed below. Must bring proper documentation for eligibility and residency (shown below) when registering.

• Saturday, November 4, 2023  -  7:00 am to 3:00 pm

• Business Hours: Monday  -  8:00 am to 4:00 pm

• Election Day, Tuesday, November 7, 2023  -  7:00 am to 8:00 pm in the Clerk's office

Must bring proper documentation for eligibility and residency when registering. (see below)

Proof of Eligibility:

A Michigan resident (at the time you register) and a resident of your city or township for at least 30 days (when you vote)

A United States citizen

At least 18 years of age (when you vote)

Not currently serving a sentence in jail or prison

Proof of residency:

You must show proof of where you live. Documents must have your name and current address. You can show a digital copy of documents. Acceptable documents include:

Michigan driver’s license or state ID

Current utility bill

Bank statement

Paycheck or government check

Other government document

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A GENERAL ELECTION WILL BE CONDUCTED IN THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2023. 

POLLS WILL BE OPEN 7:00 AM- 8:00 PM

AT THE FOLLOWING POLLING LOCATION: 

ALL VOTING PRECINCTS  [ 1, 2, 3 & 4 ]   PLYMOUTH CULTURAL CENTER, 525 FARMER ST.

and qualified electors in the City of Plymouth will be voting for the following:

> Candidates for the offices of:  
      CITY COMMISSIONER - (Four Positions expire Nov. 2023)

> The following ballot proposal:

PLYMOUTH CITY CHARTER AMENDMENT MILLAGE FOR PARKS AND RECREATION

Shall Section 8.5 of the Charter of the City of Plymouth, Wayne County, Michigan, be amended to permit the levy by the City of a new additional ad valorem property tax in an amount not to exceed one and three-quarters (1.75) mills, for 12 years, from 2024 through 2035, to provide funds to the City to acquire, construct, improve, furnish, operate and maintain parks and recreation facilities? It is estimated that 1.75 mills would raise approximately $1,275,955 when first levied in 2024.      YES____NO____
