The first real snow/drizzle of the season has hit Plymouth this afternoon and early evening.  City Department of Municipal Services crews are in treating major streets with a salt and brine solution to help keep the slush from freezing as temperatures drop throughout the evening.

If you are out and about this evening, drive safely and allow extra room between you and the car in front of you.  Be extremely careful on  bridges, overpasses and elevated structures like the Central Park Deck as they tend to freeze first. If you are out walking this evening or in the early morning hours, be extra careful as sidewalks may freeze during the overnight hours.

First snow of the year, remember SNOW = SLOW, a reminder from the Plymouth Police Department.

No further updates are anticipated for this storm event.  If you have questions regarding this report contact [email protected].
