Water Main Break - DTP Road Closures

City of Plymouth Municipal Services crews are responding to a water main break in the area of Main and Ann Arbor Trail.  Crews are currently waiting for MISS DIG to respond to the area to mark underground utilities prior to repair crews digging in the area.  

Currently, there are road closures in the downtown area and drivers should plan to re-route around the water main break area.  The following streets are closed at this time:

* Ann Arbor Trail - between Main and Forest

* Southbound Main Street from Penniman to Ann Arbor Trail

It is anticipated that it will take several hours to repair the water main break. Water service in the immediate area has been turned off.  The city water system remains safe, secure, and pressurized. Some water customers in the immediate area of the main break may experience some discolored water, customers who experience this should simply run the cold water tap for a few minutes until the water clears up.
