Water Main Break Info - Beech between Harvey & McKinley
Published on Jan 9, 2024 10:35

City Municipal Services crews are responding to a minor water main break on Beech Street between Harvey and McKinley streets.  Residents in the immediate area of the Beech Street water main break may experience a lower than normal water pressure while crew make repairs.

The city's water system remains safe and secure as the water system is pressurized and there is NO boil water advisory as a result of this minor break. In a few cases some residents in the immediate area may experience some discoloration of their tap water.  This is a result of some reversed flows in the system and is a result of the natural build up of minerals in the distribution pipes.  If you experience discolored tap water, simply run the cold water tap for a few minutes and it should clear up.
