City Road Conditions as of 8:30 p.m.
Published on Jan 12, 2024 21:22

City Municipal Services crews are continuing to work on clearing the city's roadways, while at the same time responding to downed tree limbs that are blocking roads.  However, crews have started plow operations for all streets.  Residents are asked to please keep cars off of the street to assist crews with making plowing operations more efficient.

All city streets are snow covered and slick and caution is advised.  Walking and running in the streets is not advised.  Walkers and runners should always wear reflective gear and have personal lights for your safety.

Residents and businesses are reminded to not push, plow, or blow snow into the streets. You could create personal liability by putting snow back into the streets and it violates city ordinance.  If you are shoveling or using a snow blower, be sure to take plenty of breaks and to drink plenty of water.  Snow is extremely heavy and wet.

If you are driving please be aware of slick spots and if you see our crews in the plows, be sure to wave to say hello and please give our crews plenty of room to work and please don't crowd the plow.
