City Road Conditions as of 9:30 a.m.

City crews have all of the city's major streets clear and wet at this time. This would include streets such as Main Street, Ann Arbor Trail, Penniman, Farmer, and Starkweather.  Crews worked during the overnight hours to minimize the ice impact and rain continues to fall, with the current temperature in Plymouth is 32f.

Crews are also working to "gutter run" the residential side streets in an effort to try and clear a path for all of this rain water, and melting snow to be able to reasonable work its way to the catch basins on the streets.  This additional work will help drain water from the streets to help prevent further freezing and to open the streets to full width.

Plymouth Police are continuing to urge drivers to allow space between you and the car in front of you as there are slick spots on the roadways.  There are also large puddles on some roadways. Elevated surfaces such as bridges, overpasses, and the Central Parking Deck can be slippery, as elevated surfaces tend to quickly freeze over.  The Central Parking Deck has been treated this morning to help break the ice forming process.
