City Municipal Services Plowing All Residential Streets
Published on Jan 30, 2024 15:24
Snow here in Plymouth has tapered off and all of the city's major streets are clear and wet at this time. We have experienced approximately 4 inches of snow, with some melting today. This afternoon the City Municipal Services has begun to plow all residential side streets and this process is expected to run into the evening. Please keep cars off of the streets in order to allow plow crews to be more efficient.
To help avoid large amount of snow being plowed into the driveway apron we recommend using the following method to help keep your drive approach with less snow. In short, clear a path ahead or upstream of your driveway and pile snow downstream of plowing operations. Remember to not blow, shovel, or push snow out into the street, especially after the street has been plowed. All snow from the driveways and sidewalks is required to be stockpiled on the tree lawn area as indicated or on your private property.
