City Road Conditions as of 7:45 a.m.

Snow started falling in the City of Plymouth at approximately 4:30 a.m.  City Municipal Services crews are on the road and their focus is the city's major streets, such as Main Street, Ann Arbor Trail, Penniman, Harvey, Farmer, and Starkweather.  Crews are in process of making their first pass on all of these streets and they are using a salt and brine solution to activate the snow/ice melting process as quickly as possible.  Residential side streets are slick and snow covered at this time.

Drivers should be aware that there is a thin layer of ice under the snow on roadways.  All roadways should be considered slick and extreme caution is advised. Remember just because you have Four Wheel Drive to make you go, it also means that you have Four Wheel Slide when it comes to stopping.  Please leave extra distance between you and the car in front of you.
