Spring Clean Up starts tomorrow, Saturday, May 11, for properties NORTH of Ann Arbor Trail.
The following Saturday, May 18 is Spring Clean Up for properties SOUTH of Ann Arbor Trail.
All items must be at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on your respective collection date to ensure pickup.
HOW IT WORKS:
On your designated day, the contractor will pick up your bulk items from the curb.
- Place trash items out at the curb by 6:00 A.M. on your designated collection day. Please only place items on the designated spring clean up day for your area.
- Each address is allowed 8 trash cans or the equivalent, plus two large items (i.e. washer, dryer, couch, desk, etc.).
- All small refuse must be placed in a container strong enough to hold its weight (i.e. plastic bags, cans, boxes) which may not exceed 50 pounds.
- Appliances containing refrigerant (Freon) must have a valid certificate of refrigerant removal (i.e. refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, etc.).
- Refrigerators or freezers must have the doors removed from the hinges.- All items placed at the curb for collection must be arranged in a neat and safe manner.
PROHIBITED ITEMS:
The following items are prohibited & will NOT be picked up:
x Tires & auto parts
x Construction debris
x Concrete, bricks, dirt, sod, or rocks
x Extremely large items: boats, cars, engines, motorcycles, snowmobiles, pianos, etc.
x Hazardous waste items: gasoline, motor oil, paint thinners, pesticides, medical waste, etc.
x Automated trash carts, automated recycling carts and yard waste/compost bags/cans
***DO NOT place your regular carts to the curb, they will NOT be emptied on this collection day***
