Mailings from third party
organizations – Not from City of Plymouth or the State of Michigan
Voters
should be aware of voter registration mailers being sent by a non-government
organization. We have been made aware that
voters who are currently registered have received non-government mailers that
contain their address pre-filled on a State
of Michigan voter registration application as part of a pre-addressed, postage
paid, self-mailer return addressed to the City of Plymouth.
These
mailers can be confusing since it is difficult to readily see that these are
not being sent by the City of Plymouth.
It
is not necessary for voters who are already registered to return these
applications. However, residents who
receive this type of mailer can contact the clerk’s office if they would like
to verify their voter registration status.
They
can also check their status online at https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/. The same applies if you happen to receive one
of these mailing with ballot applications.
- Absentee ballots can be returned postage free using the purple return envelope, or dropped off at Plymouth City Hall using our drop-boxes in the main lobby during business hours or in the Church Street entrance (24 hour access). Please remember to sign the ballot return envelope!
- General Election is November
5th, 2024, from 7am-8pm at the Plymouth Cultural Center.
- Early Voting for the November 5th
General Election for City of Plymouth residents will be October 26, 2024
through November 3, 2024 at the Plymouth Cultural Center located at 525
Farmer St. from 9am-5pm daily.
- Logic & Accuracy testing
for Nov 5 General Election – Notice
Registering earlier can be helpful if you have questions. Also please contact the clerk's office for questions if you plan to be moving within 30 days of the election for guidance.
