Main Street Closure - September 26, 2024, Friday

Beginning the morning of Friday, September 27^th crews will be working on Main St at the Railroad Crossing. Crews will be installing a new water main to serve the Phase 2 of the Mill Street Townes (Pulte Development).

Traffic impacts anticipated to be:

• Friday, 9/27 through Tuesday, 10/1 – Northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane, the outside Northbound lane on Main street will be closed from RR tracks to Amelia St
• Wednesday, 10/2 through Thursday, 10/3 – Main street will be closed to all traffic between Theodore St (RR Tracks) and Amelia St.
• Detour will be set up as follows:
• Northbound traffic detour North on Theodore St, then East on Farmer St, then South on Starkweather St, to Main street
• Southbound traffic detour North on Starkweather St, then West on Farmer St, then South on Theodore St, to Main street

The water main work and road patch is anticipated to be completed by the evening of Thursday 10/3 and Main Street to be open to traffic both Northbound and Southbound.

The schedule is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances and weather conditions.

The work is NOT expected to impact water service for any residents or businesses.
