Weather Conditions Update - 4:30 p.m. 02/06/25

The City of Plymouth did experience some icing this early morning and then melting for most of the afternoon. Unfortunately, there has not been a lot of opportunity for the ground, roads, sidewalks and parking areas to dry out. The National Weather Service is predicting that the temperatures will remain above freezing until sometime early this evening.

Any water or ice on the sidewalks and roadways will most likely freeze again overnight as temperatures drop into mid-teens.  This will cause areas of slick sidewalks, roadways and black ice, caution is advised for all walkers, runners, and drivers.  Also, be aware that elevated surfaces such as bridges, overpasses, and the Central Parking Deck will re-freeze quickly despite being treated with deicing materials due to their elevated surfaces. Again, caution is advised.
