City Road Conditions as of 8:45 p.m.
Published on Feb 12, 2025 21:00

First Responders from the Department of Municipal Services are currently working on plowing and deicing major streets in the city.  At this time all major streets have been treated with a brine solution earlier in the day in advance of the snow starting.  Once the snow/sleet started earlier this evening city crews were immediately plowing and deicing the streets.  The Central Parking Deck has also been treated, but we are experiencing on-going snowfall at this time.

The City of Plymouth will be under a Snow Emergency starting at 10:00 p.m. and that means no cars are allowed to park on the street after 10:00 p.m.  Police officers will be ticketing vehicles left on the street during the overnight.

Drivers should be aware of a new State Law which requires that drivers stay at least 200 feet back of a municipal snow/plow truck that has its emergency lights activated. Drivers of the snowplow trucks have a lot of things going on in the cab and they don't need vehicles crowding the plow.

If you are going out tonight, please drive with caution.  Municipal Services crews will be working throughout the night and it is anticipated that they will begin plowing residential side streets during the overnight hours.
