City Road Conditions as of 8:00 a.m.

City of Plymouth Department of Municipal Services crews have been working during the overnight hours as snow started after 3:00 a.m. As of 8:00 a.m. all major streets in the city have been cleared and treated with a salt and brine solution and all major streets are clear and wet with some slush.
Crews are gathering to begin residential side street plowing operations starting at 9:00 a.m. We would ask that residents please keep vehicles off of the streets to assist with clearing your street. Also, please do not push, shovel or blow snow back into the streets once crews have plowed the street. With anticipated significant drops in temperatures in the next day or so, we want to avoid having large ice mounds in the street. Also, pushing snow back into the street after plowing, could pose a personal liability risk for the property owner.
There is a new State Law which requires that drivers keep 200 feet back from any operating snow plow or salt truck that has its emergency lights activated. Police will be enforcing this new law. Please don't crowd the plow.
To prevent the build up of snow in your drive approach we suggest that you clear an area "upstream" from your drive approach.
