Have you ever wondered who does what and how things work in the City of Plymouth?
Sign up for our Citizens
Academy and you'll learn about a hard working team of professionals that provide the level of service you've come
to expect. You'll also get behind-the-scenes facility tours while learning about each department and the services
they provide.
For example, did you know that the Plymouth Cultural Center's heating and cooling is provided by a geothermal
system? Would you like to see how the Department of Municipal Services mixes brine to use less salt and improve
ice melting? What about the technology required by the police department's new body-worn camera system? All
this and much more will be covered in the weekly classes.
Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. beginning September 13. Graduation will be at the City
Commission meeting on November 7.
